So if you haven't seen already I have a new hair colour! No I haven't got rid of the pink, I don't think I could ever do that, but I've added a little sunshine to my hair! I've been thinking about dying my hair pink and yellow for a while but haven't been brave enough to do it, so last week I decided it was time to go for it... and I'm loving it!!

I have had pink hair for almost 3 years now which is insane, can't believe it's been so long! This means that pink hair almost feels natural to me now, so it does feel a little weird sometimes when I see the yellow in the mirror but I know I'll get used to it over time. A couple of years ago I dyed my hair purple for a little while but I've always come back to the pink hair so who knows how long I'll keep the yellow; I might try a few other colours for my fringe if I'm feeling adventurous!
So a little story behind why I chose pink and yellow. I mean it is an amazing colour combination that I love but as a kid my favoruite colour was pink yellow; not pink or yellow, pink yellow! I've asked my parents and we have no idea whether I was talking about pink or yellow (I'm guessing pink) but I insited it was one colour not two separate colours. Thinking about this always makes me smile and I know past me would be over the moon that my hair is now her favourite colour!
Now it's getting colder I love that my hair can help bring a little sunshine to my day or really anyone's day; you wouldn't believe the amount of comments I received the other day at work saying it brightened up their day! Yellow can't help but make you feel a bit sunny and I'm hoping my yellow hair is going to help brightens up the darker days.
So that's the story behind the pink yellow hair; I hope you've enjoyed hearing a little more about it!
Hope you have a sunny week!
Best wishes,
Lottie
P.S. If anyone was interested the hair dyes I've used are Directions pink dye (not sure of the shade name)and Bleach London Twisted Lemon yellow dye!
