Hello!
Hope you're all keeping safe and well!
I think lockdown has given us all a lot of time to fill and one way to do that is by binge watching lots of shows haha! Whether its a tv show to have on in the background or something you want to sit and watch, there are so many amazing shows out there for everyone to watch.
Here are my top binge worthy shows to help fill the days during lockdown on Disney+, Netflix and BBC iPlayer!
Disney +
Prop Culture

This show is one of Disney's new originals and its so interesing! The show follows the host Dan Lanigan, who is a writer, producer and a film prop collector, as he revisits classic Disney titles and looks at how iconic props helped to shape the films and create some of the most magical movie moments.
My favourite episode has to be about "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe" because they reunited some of the original cast with their props! Dan meets Georgie Henley (who played Lucy), William Moseley ( Peter), and Anna Popplewell (Susan) and reunites them with their gifts from Farther Christmas and some of their original costumes. Its so lovely to watch them interacting again with the props and talking about all the fun memories they have from being on set.
Lizzie Mcguire

I feel like everyone watched Lizzie McGuire when they were younger but now its on Disney + you can binge watch all the episodes at once haha! But for those who didn't watch it, the show follows 13 year old Lizzie McGuire and her best friends Miranda and Gordo as they ride the roller coaster that is, middle school. You always know what Lizzie is thinking and even if she can't quite say it, her animated alter ego definitely will!
Watching this show back now makes me miss all the crazy 2000 fashion and the bold clothing choices Lizzie makes; we all need a bit more of her fun spirit in our wardrobes! Also while you're watching the show why not watch the movie which is another classic, that will forever make me want to ride round Italy on a moped.
Netflix
Hollywood

I love this show because its set in one of my favourite film periods, 1940s Hollywood! The show followd several aspiring actors and filmmakers and shows the lengths they will go to to make their showbiz dreams come true. The show is full of lies, scandals and secrets but the main cast members are all working to make their dreams come true.
Each character is surrounded by secrets but I love the cast they chose and I think they all portray the characters beautifully! The costumes are stunning and I love getting to take a peak at what 1940s Hollywood was like.
Dynasty

Dynasty is a modernized reboot of the 1980s soap which follows two of America's wealthiest families, the Carringtons and the Colbys, as they feud for control over their fortune and their children. The show shows not only the gliz and gloss of the extremely rich but also shows the dark corrupt world that is built on backroom deals.
The show just launched their third season and it does not disappoint with all the glitz and drama! There's so much that happens in this glamourous world with so many twists and turns, one after the other. The costumes of the extremely wealthy characters are also stunning and makes me wish I could go on a big shopping spree.
BBC iPlayer
Glow Up

The second season of Glow Up started the other week and its just as great as the 1st season! If you haven't watched the 1st season the show is a competition between 10 aspiring makeup artists that have to compete in colourful challanges over 8 episodes to to win a career-making opportunity in the beauty industry.
The mua's are so talented and they've already had some great challenges this season, such as working backstage at London Fashion Week and creating the makeup for an advertising campaign for JD sports. They also create some amazing creative makeup looks and I can't wait to see what they do next!
Normal People

I think pretty much everyone has heard about this show by now but if you haven't, the show is based on the book with the same name by Sally Rooney. The show follows Marianne and Connell, who are from different backgrounds but grew up in the same small town in Ireland, as they weave in and out of each other's romantic lives and start to grow up.
I was recommeded the book by a friend and loved it, so was so excited when I heard it was becoming a show and the show definitely delivered! Daisy Edgar-Jones and Paul Mescal, who play Marianne and Connell have such amazing chemistry and their relationship comes across so honest.
Hope you guys enjoy these shows too and let me know what you're loving watching at the moment as I'm always looking for fun series to binge watch!
Best wishes,
Lottie
