If you haven't seen already I was lucky enough to have spent last week in Disneyland Paris! I've always dreamt of visiting so I can't describe how magical my trip was; even though it was freezing cold!
I wanted to do a look book, style blog to show you guys my various outfits that were all inspired by 4 different Disney characters. All my Minnie Ears are from Luby and Lola and you can get a better look at them on my last blog; Disneyland Paris Essentials.
Day 1 - Cinderella!
Day 1 was inspired by one of my favourite princesses, Cinderella! Sadly glass slippers were not the most practical thing to wear in the snow so Dr.Martens had to do. My blue princess dress is from a vintage shop on Portobello Road and the colour so reminds me of Cinderella. I then wore a glass slipper necklace to make up for the lace of otherwise. To finish the outfit I then wore pair of Mickey Mouse tights which I brought from Primark and have completely fallen in love with; I even ended up going back and buying a few more pairs!
Day 2 - Belle!
Day 2 was all about bold colours with this Belle inspired look! I found this yellow lace dress in another vintage shop in London and the layers of the lace skirt really remind me of Belle's dress in the new live action film! To finish the Belle vibe I wore my Chip cup backpack from Primark and my gold necklace showing Belle and the Beast dancing from The Wily Fox.
Day 3 - Modern Minnie Mouse!
On day 3 I went to Paris in the day and then I went back to Disneyland for the evening to see the fireworks at the castle so the outfit was more subtly Disney inspired than my other outfits. For this look I wore a over sized jumper with shoulder detail and a long red tulle skirt, over which I wore a corset belt to add a little detail. With this look I carried my Beauty and the Beast book handbag. In Paris I paired the outfit with a black beret but then back in Disneyland I wore my classic Minnie ears.
Day 4 - Minnie Mouse!
Day 4 was another outfit inspired by Minnie Mouse but this outfit is a bit more obvious than the last one. I made this dress from cotton fabric and underneath I wore a petticoat to add to the skirt and I also love how the frills show around the edge. I then accessorized with Minnie Bow earrings and a matching necklace that were a gift from a close friend. I then wore another pair of my favourite Minnie Mouse tights!
Day 5 - Alice in Wonderland!
My look on day 5 was inspired by Alice in Wonderland. I made the pinafore myself from navy cotton and then wore a white cotton blouse with puffed sleeves underneath. To complete the Alice vibe I wore white tights, which turned out to not be the most practical thing to wear when there were muddy puddles everywhere but they did look cute!
Hope you've enjoyed having a closer look at my Disney looks!
Best wishes,
Lottie
