London Fashion Week has come and gone in a flash! There were so many inspiring shows. To celebrate another amazing season, I thought I'd share with you my favourite shows from London Fashion Week SS19.
Ryan Lo

Ryan Lo is one of my favourite designers! His pieces are so inspiring and influence a lot of my work. I adore the way he uses of frills, tulle and lace to create unique pieces.
This season he paired tulle skirts, embellished tops and tea dresses with pointed court shoes or calf-length boots. The pieces features beautiful pastel colours that add to fairy tale feel of the collection.
He finished his looks using two very unusual accessories; supersized witches hats by, Stephen Jones and gilded broomsticks. Talk about Wizard of Oz vibes! The show even ended with a knight in amour on the arm of one of the models; that's how you finish a show in style!
Delpozo

Delpozo always use amazing flowing fabrics. This collection features fabulous soft colours alongside bold orange red tones which creates an amazing contrast. Ruffles have been very popular this season on the runway but I love how Delpozo uses them subtly to add beautiful detail to simple button down shirts. They also use stylish draping techniques to create simple details around necklines or to frame the shoulders. The looks were completed with delicate white ruffled headdresses that sat gracefully on the side of the models heads.
Molly Goddard

I always love Molly's pieces. Someone once told me that I dress like I've just walked off one of the Molly Goddard catwalk shows and which always makes me smile.
I love the way they use layers and frills. This collection also features one of my favourite prints; gingham! The mixture of sheer gingham printed fabrics and lots of frills is beautiful.
Also I love the accessory of the cabbage. It's a little odd but why not! Thanks to Molly, I think its a must have for this season, haha!
Bora Aksu

Bora Aksu's collection is so magical! They took traditional feminine styles and gave them a dark twist. The mixture of soft floral's and layered tulle with bold colours and black outlined lace creates unique textures.
They beautifully paired bright green tones with traditional shapes and materials. I adore all the lace and layers, definitely something to look forward to next spring!
The looks were finished with the cutest t-bar heels in a mixture of nude and black tones. The heels completed the classic and sophisticated style of the beautiful show.
Longshaw Ward

Longshaw Ward have been at the ON OFF show for the last two seasons now and I've been lucky enough to be a dresser for them for both season's and they really are the sweetest couple!
Not only are they nice people but they also create the most amazing pieces! They incorporate knit and embroidered into their work to create beautiful patterns. This collection features amazing pieces made from tulle with bound seam details. I love the colours they've used; the nude, bold pink, navy and baby blue.
Also the accessories are incredible! From beaded shoes to frill tulle handbags they're so unique. Definitetly my favourite accessories from this season!
I know this blog is a little late but I've been super busy moving to Brighton and starting university. Anyway, I hope you guys have enjoyed seeing my favourite shows from this season.
Best wishes,
Lottie
