This year at the Golden Globes and BAFTA's the stars walked the red carpet in some pretty amazing black pieces. The colour black was chosen to raise awareness and show support for the Time's Up movement. I love how they used something so simple (their outfits) to raise awareness for such an important cause. The solidarity they showed is so inspiring!
So to celebrate that, here are my top little black dresses!
Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie always looks classy on the red carpet and this is definitely one of my favourite looks of hers. The feather trim on the cuffs add an amazing classic Hollywood feel to a otherwise simple but beautiful black dress!
Millie Bobby Brown

Millie has an amazing style; especially considering her age! This dress looks so cute on her. I love the layered sleeves and frill detailing! The low cut back gives the dress a mature edge and levels out the frills.
Her glittery shoes definitely add a little sparkle to her outfit.
Styled by Thomas Carter Phillips
Anya Taylor Joy

Her dress is beautiful! The lace on the skirt is beautifully detailed and I love the way it fades down the skirt.
Also her tiara is such a stunning accessory! I love how it adds a classy princess vibe and a little sparkle to her look.
Styled by Ilaria Urbinati
Lily James

Lily James always looks like a princess and this dress definitely follows in that vibe! The dress has an incredible skirt that because of the various layers of different fabrics, flowed as she moved. I also love the strapless style top, it really shows off her slim figure.

Sally Hawkins

Her dress is so classy and looks incredible with her hair. I love the asymmetric neckline of the velvet top. The satin skirt is so stylish and I love that its floor length. The bow tie around her middle shows off her small figure and completes the classic shape of her dress.
Gemma Arterton

I love the texture of Gemma's dress! The pleated detailing creates such an amazing shape and the dress hugs her figure beautifully. The neckline flowed delicately when she walked down the carpet.
Helena Bonham Carter

Helena has such an amazing eccentric style, that she always pulls off beautifully! Her dress frames her body perfectly and the classic satin fabric adds to the sophisticated feel. I love the draped shaped of the dress and how it forms such a classic neckline.
Her bag is a really sweet shape and I love that it says "QUEEN" on it; she definitely is a queen of style!
Styled by herself!
Jennifer Lawerence

I love the structure of this dress! The bodice is beautifully fitted and the white off the shoulder sleeves are so delicate in contrast to the bodice.
Her red lipstick looks stunning against her pale skin and it really adds to the sophisticated feel of the whole look.
Styled by Jill Lincoln and Jordan Johnson
Lupita Nyong'o

Once again Lupita wore a stunning dress! The detail on this dress is incredible and I love the way the bodice is made up with strips of material. This photo definitely shows off the movement of the skirt and the layers create such an amazing texture. The train is also such a simple but nice detail.
Styled by Micaela Erlanger
Naomie Harris

This outfit is stunning!! I love the patterns created by the beading and embroidered details on her floor length sheer dress. Its beautifully paired with a pair of fitted trousers that show off her incredible legs.
Her simple necklaces add to the glamour of the look and I love how she layered up all the different lengths and styles.
Styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray
Octavia Spencer

Octavia always looks glamorous and I think the simple shape of the dress is so classy. The beautiful sequinned detailing creates some amazing patterns that frame the skirt, bodice and sleeves.
Her crystal earring are also such a simple shape but they really add a sophisticated edge to the outfit.
Styled by Wendi and Nicole Ferreira
